Rural library…

July 12, 2007

My heart goes out to a poor community in Rural America to a library which is trying to reach out with books. They have implemented a literacy program for children, teens and adults.

I am trying to help from many miles away by donating books. They will give you a tax receipt if you give them a value of your contribution.

The folks in this community have limited opportunity and drive at least an hour to find work. Many years ago it was a thriving area. It is very sad to see. I don’t know what the answers are but I know the folks at this library are trying to make a difference in a positive way.

If you’d like more details about helping this small town library, please let me know!

Thanks,
Trina

Marty & I enjoyed seeing Ratatouille this afternoon. I love animals, cooking and didn’t think we could go wrong seeing a light-hearted Pixar flick.

I was right! This is a homerun…again! I didn’t expect any less and this is the best Pixar flick yet in my opinion.

Ratatouille is charming and hilarious. It’s a great story.

I forgot I was watching animation! This film also has life lessons and I hope everyone enjoys the food for thought as much as seeing the vivid animation of food in the kitchen. I am on a search for the perfect recipe for Ratatouille, a dish I would of never tried but am anxious to make now!

As a nature lover and animal lover who can’t even kill a fly, these rats were lifelike, irresistible and adorable.

I think this is a film which is great for all ages from zero to 100! I hope you’ll see it someday.
